Becki Danchik has spent over 15 years helping buyers, sellers, and renters successfully navigate the New York City real estate market. Consistently ranked among the top agents at Coldwell Banker, she earns global recognition for her performance year after year. Becki and her team have closed transactions at every price point and under a wide range of circumstances. “I love helping people with one of the biggest decisions of their lives,” she says. With many first-time clients returning for future transactions, it’s clear they love working with her too.

Becki’s passion, diligence, and sharp market expertise—combined with her impressive negotiation skills—have earned her an enviable referral network built on trust and results. “I didn’t grow up in New York or have an established network here,” she explains. “I entered the business at a young age, while many start as a third or fourth career. I gained traction through hard work, strategic negotiation, and consistently delivering for my clients.”

Originally from the Boston area, Becki moved to New York City after earning a B.A. in Art History and Visual Arts from Union College, followed by additional studies in film production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her creative background is a major asset: She helps buyers and renters visualize a space’s potential and, as an experienced home stager, uses design and marketing expertise to showcase properties at their best. Her strategic staging has transformed otherwise challenging homes into highly marketable listings, maximizing returns for sellers.

Becki’s real estate career began when she was handpicked to work at a top rental firm, where she brokered hundreds of transactions and then moved on to another firm where she trained new agents. While she still enjoys the fast-paced rental market—“I love its diversity”—her primary focus is now on buyers and sellers. “For buyers, especially first-timers, it’s about more than just looking at listings,” she says. “There are major emotional and financial considerations, and I love guiding clients through the process. Helping buyers find their dream home and sellers maximize their investment is incredibly rewarding.”

Her expertise has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, Curbed, Apartment Therapy, and more. She is also the author of The NYC Homebuyer’s Guide: Why It Pays to Have the Right Agent, available for download here.
